They make exquisite cakes, pastries, cookies, deli-meats, cheeses and provide a great assortment of Italian fine foods. We provided them with an updated design to their store.
This fine foods deli market was located in the small town of Caledon, is the epitome of a successful family ran business that is true to its Italian roots. They make exquisite cakes, pastries, cookies, deli-meats, cheeses and provide a great assortment of Italian fine foods. We provided them with an updated design to their store.
The concept of the new Deli market store was that we wanted to create a space that reflected the home-style aspect of the business while also bringing in a fresh and modern design. We wanted to use a lot of light colored wood that was welcoming and clean. We trimmed the color scheme down, and introduced a Teal element that would be juxtaposing to all the wood and earth tones. Wood stripped surfaces provided a complexity to the design that guided customers to featured spots of the store.
Using Hand-drawn style illustrations, we wanted the wallpaper to enhance the idea of family, warmth, and things produced raw and by hand. We wanted the wallpaper to feel organic and natural to the space.
